Registration for Volunteers are now open!
If you choose to Volunteer without selling;
Our Volunteers play a very important role during our sales!
From set up to break down and everything in between, our volunteers are the key to great sale and creating an amazing shopping experience for our customers. Our volunteers provides the clean, well-organized and friendly atmosphere that sets our sales apart from all others.
To honor the work they put in at each of our sales every volunteer is given a pass to participate in our Pre-Sale Event. And the best part is, ANYONE can volunteer at our consignment sales! Dads, moms, moms-to-be, grandparents… anyone that wants to shop early for the best deals.
As an added bonus, if you are a consignor and also volunteer you will earn a higher percentage of your sales based on how many shifts you work.
Once you register, you can select an opportunity to volunteer. Some duties include
Set-Up, Set-Up, Break Down, Inspectors, Organizers, Sales Assistance, Sorters
& Food/Drinks Supplier. Each shift is 3 hour shifts; the number of shifts you select will determine the increase in your sales percentage:
1st shift = 70%
2nd shifts = 75%
3rd shifts = 80% (1 shift must include sorting)
Registering for a volunteer shift is fast and easy through our online program. You’ll be able to easily see which shifts are available and choose the ones that work best for you.
IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR CHOOSING YOUR WORK SHIFTS:
As a volunteer your primary responsibilities are helping customers and maintaining the sale floor, and you may not have the opportunity to shop. We ask that when choosing your volunteer work shift, please make sure that you have also planned some shopping time for yourself another time during the sale if you are unable to make the Pre-Sale Event.
This includes unloading the truck, setting up tables, racks and shelves. (We welcome ALL husbands, finance’s) This time works in conjunction with your volunteer hours.
This includes inspecting consignor’s drop-off items. Checking clothes/shoes for holes, missing buttons, stains, out of season item. Also looking for appropriate tags and correct hanging. If you have an eye for detail this is the job for you.
This includes arranging the sales floor: clothes, shoes, room décor, baby gear and bedding. We need you if you love to arrange and organize things.
This includes assisting our shoppers during the sale, return items to the sales floor, keeping the sale floor neat and clean, security, helping shoppers with large purchases to their vehicles. If you love helping others. This is right where you need to be.
ALL HANDS ON DECK – Here’s where we need the most volunteers. The more help with have the faster we get done. This allows for an efficient double check and a smooth check-out pick up process.
This includes a double check after all items have been sorting and assisting consignors with signing out.
