Selling your items with The Consignment Queens is simple. For the best results it will require a bit of prep work, but it's something EVERYONE can do. We've tried to make it as easy as possible for you register for each sale, price and tag your items, and drop them off at the sale. To get started, follow the steps below. Prepare, price, & tag your items from home with our online program
Drop off your items at a scheduled time that’s convenient for you
Relax! A check for your sold items will arrive in the mail
REGISTER AS A CONSIGNOR
FIRST - Read our consignor agreement.
Before you complete the registration process you will be asked to accept the terms of this agreement.
You can register for our next sale as a returning consignor or as a new consignor.
Returning consignors can register for the sale and will keep their same consignor number.
PAY CONSIGNOR FEE
Consignors will pay a $10 Fee
(Get your consignor's fee waived by referring 5 friends to consign at least 20 items within the same sale)
REGISTER FOR A DROP OFF SHIFT
You will need to schedule a convenient time to drop off your items the day before the sale.
We recommend that you pick a time slot during registration because time slots fill up quickly.
Plan to spend at anywhere from 10-30 minutes at drop off depending on how many items you have, and if you choose to help place your items. You are welcome to place your items on the sales floor (and it will be greatly appreciated), but we understand a mom's busy schedule and we will have volunteers available to help with this if you aren't able to.
**NEW FOR SPRING 2016**
In order to ensure the quality of all our items, and to ensure they are appropriate for our sale, we will be checking over each item at the time of drop off. During your scheduled drop off shift a sale volunteer will make sure that your items meet or guidelines. Please visit our Pick Up / Drop Off page for more information
SIGN UP TO VOLUNTEER (optional)
While you're registering, consider signing up to volunteer.
If you choose to volunteer you will earn a higher percentage of your sales based on how many shifts you work. You can earn 70% for one shift, 75% for two shifts, and 80% for three shifts (you must register as a sorter to received this percentage)! You are also eligible to attend our special Volunteer Pre-Sale and to enter our 1/2 price sale early!
Each shift is 3 hours and you select determine the increase in your sales percentage:
1 shift = 70%
2 shifts = 75%
3 shifts = 80% (1 shift must include sorting)
START GATHERING, PREPARING, & TAGGING ITEMS
Sign up for one of our upcoming classes and get assistance preparing your items
and to teach you about our tagging system.
Because we are very concerned about the safety of our children we ask that you visit our Recalls page
to check and see if ANY of the items you are consigning have been recalled.
Once you have check and double checked the item prep page you can start entering your items into our online tagging system. Here you can enter and price all your items. When you are finished you can print the barcoded tags to attach to you items.
WRITE PICK UP TIMES ON YOUR CALENDAR
At the end of the sale you are responsible to pick up any of your unsold items that you are not donating. If you chose to donate your unsold items to charity then your work here is done; we'll take care of packing up and donating everything that's left. If you prefer to keep your unsold items, just stop by after the sale and they'll be ready and waiting for you.
ANY ITEMS THAT ARE NOT PICKED UP DURING THE SCHEDULED PICK UP TIME WILL BE DONATED.
If you can not make pick up please ask someone to come in your place. All left over items are packed up and donated immediately after the sale. We DO NOT hold on to items once the sale is over.
All donation will be given to the Florence Crittenton Services
Founded in 1903, Florence Crittenton Services of North Carolina is a non-profit organization that helps pregnant and non-pregnant yet at-risk girls and women by providing: social, educational, adoption and parenting support services.
